Just wanted to give you an update on “Jammer”, I took him to the heelomatic jackpot. We didn’t win but not because of him. He is everything and more than I could have hoped for. I already know he is my horse of a lifetime. People couldn’t believe how calm he is for being 8. People recognized your brand and asked me about you guys. I hope Wendy and I can sell more horses for you all (after she gets hers of course!) I just want to thank you for being one of the few places you can go and buy a horse, and know what you’re getting. I love this horse so much! Thank you!!!!!

I wanted to thank you and your team for the excellent hunt you provided to my brother, Jeff Richards, last month.From the initial phone call, to receiving game camera pictures of deer on your ranch, to gutting and hanging the deer overnight and organizing a taxidermist for the mount, you made it an extraordinary experience for a public hunter. Since my brother is a quadriplegic and wheelchair bound you were able to position him in a very favorable hunting blind to harvest the buck of his dreams. You are an excellent example of how a CWMU can and should operate for the benefit of both land owners and hunters. My brother and I would like to thank you for making the New Harmony CWMU a real gem for Utah hunters. Likewise, the DWR CWMU program should be proud to have you as a manager of this extremely valuable and finite resource.

As you mentioned, he is a very alert horse, however after earning his trust, he has become very easy to live with. Wanted to try and express what a great pleasure it was to visit the Ranch, meet all of you and of course purchase a great horse.
The Diamond H is certainly a cut above coupled with good, knowledgeable horse people and a friendly atmosphere.
Being able to see several horses of the caliber you have and try them on steers is a definite plus for anyone looking to buy their next great rope horse.
The horse I bought, Joe, is exceptional and everything I hoped he would be and at 63,”this is not my first rodeo”.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR THE RECENT PURCHASE OF SMOKE FROM THE DIAMOND H RANCH. THERES ALWAYS A STORY AND HERE IS HOW THIS ONE GOES. MY HUSBAND’S NUMBER ONE
HORSE WAS DIAGNOSES WITH RING BONE ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO. HE WAS DEVISTATED WITH THAT NEWS AND TOLD ME THAT HE WOULD NEVER AGAIN FIND A HORSE LIKE PREACHER. WE HAVE A FEW OTHERS IN THE HERD AND HE DECIDED HE WOULD JUST MAKE DUE WITH WHAT WE HAD. NEEDLESS TO SAY, AFTER WATCHING HIM PRACTICE I KNEW WE HAD A “BIG” PROBLEM. I DECIDED TO CALL MATT LISTON AT THE DIAMOND H RANCH, WHICH I MIGHT ADD WAS 1 WEEK PRIOR TO THE WSTROPING IN VEGAS. I TOLD MATT WHAT MY PROBLEM WAS AND IN THE NEXT BREATH HE TOLD ME HE HAD A HORSE THAT WAS JUST LIKE MY HUSBANDS GREY HORSE, PREACHER. I LAUGHED AND SAID I DOUBTED THAT VERY MUCH BUT HE ASSURED ME THIS WAS GOING TO BE A PERFECT FIT. MY HUSBAND CAME HOME TO FIND THAT I HAD MADE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE NEXT DAY TO DRIVE TO UTAH FROM VEGAS. MATT WAS LEAVING AT NOON AND DUE TO SOME BAD TEAM ROPER LUCK AND BROKE DOWN TRUCKS, WE ARRIVED AT 11:40AM THAT DAY. WE HAD EXACTLY 20 MINUTES TO TRY THIS HORSE. I HAD ADVISED MATT OF OUR SITUATION SO HE WARMED THE HORSE UP AND WHEN WE ARRIVED MY HUSBAND JUST STEPPED ON AND BACKED IN THE BOX. NO WARM UP, NO LOAPING AROUND THE ARENA FOR A TEST DRIVE. FIRST STEER WAS GOOD AND THE 2ND STEER WAS EVEN BETTER. THE HORSE WAS EXACTLY LIKE HIS OLD GREY HORSE, PREACHER. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE WAS THE COLOR. WE TOOK ONLY 10 MINUTES TO DECIDE ON THIS PURCHASE. THERE WERE NO SECOND THOUGHTS DRIVING HOME LIKE THERE NORMALLY IS. WHEN HE GOT BACK TO VEGAS THE WEATHER WAS WINDY AS USUAL SO HE ONLY GOT TO PRACTICE FOR 4 DAYS BEFORE GOING TO THE SOUTH POINT. MY HUSBAND IS 62 YEARS OLD AND GETTING USE TO A NEW HORSE IS A CHORE TO SAY THE LEAST. NOT THIS TIME. THEY WENT TO THE BIG SHOW AND TOOK 11TH PLACE FOR $9,000.00!! IT WAS NO ACCIDENT THAT THIS HAPPENED. IT WAS BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY OF THE HORSE. I CANT THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR THE TIME AND ENERGY YOU PUT INTO MAKING PARTNERSHIPS HAPPEN. A GOOD HORSE IS LIKE A GOOD SPOUSE, JUST GET A BAD ONE AND YOU WILL KNOW WHAT I MEAN. FOR THE SIMPLE FACT THAT WE DID NOT HAVE TO DRIVE AROUND THE COUNTRY AND MAYBE ,JUST MAYBE, GET LUCKY WAS WORTH IT TO US. THIS WAS NOT THE FIRST PURCHASE FOR THE VOHS FAMILY. MICHAEL VOHS, OUR COUSIN HAD ALREADY PURCHASED FROM YOU AS WELL AND HIS ROPING HAS IMPROVED 100% AND I ASSURE YOU ITS BECAUSE OF THE QUALITY OF HORSE HE NOW HAS THANKS TO YOU. ITS AMAZING THAT MATT AND HIS STAFF CAN MATCH UP A PERSON AND A HORSE SO WELL. THATS A TALENT, NOT A LEARNED SITUATION. BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT WE ARE OLDER ROPERS, WE NEED EVERY ADVANTAGE THAT CAN BE OFFERED. WE FEEL VERY CONFIDENT THAT MATT HAS OUR BEST INTEREST IN MIND AT ALL TIMES. WITH BILL’S BUSINESS SENSE AND MATT’S HORSE SENSE YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER SITUATION WHEN PURCHASING A NEW ROPE HORSE. THANK YOU BOTH AGAIN AND AGAIN FOR ALL YOU DO FOR THE ROPING INDUSTRY.

I have ridden him to my first team roping buckle win. along with placing in the top 10 on 6 out of 6 steers to now be leading the state with 2 fall season rodeos left. Rolex is everything you said he was, he really fits our program, great to be around, big motor, nice corner, flat and fast, scores like a rock and not to mention very easy on the eyes! Truly is a gem and so happy I own him.

Hi Guys, its Gina Madden. We bought Deuce right before xmas from you guys. Just wanted to give you an update. I just got him from OK less than a month ago. I have ridden him everyday and we loped our 1st set of barrels last week. He is so unbelievable! I absolutely love him! He is exactly what i was looking for. Hi Matt,

Just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how much we are enjoying the horses we have purchased from the Diamond H. We have had Texas Red for about a year now and have found him to be all you said he would be and more. We had no idea when we took him home he would be such a kind and gentle horse as well as a jam up heel horse. He is working great with Mason for heeling and he also makes a great baby sitter for the younger grand kids. I am sure we will enjoy him for many years to come. We have had Road Trip for about a month and when we had only had him a week we took him to a jackpot, and it was only time I roped on him since we road him at the Diamond H Ranch he worked awesome. He is fitting me pretty well and I am having a good time on him and believe we will enjoy him for a long time as well.
We really appreciate the time and advice you and Kera gave us in our decision on our horses, and we will be back for more I’m sure.

We think your operation is first class and since our first phone conversation we have found everything to be true and up front. Not only are the horses some of the best we have owned, but we also value the friendship we have created. We have had nothing but good compliments on our horses at every event we have attended. We have purchased three horses from Diamond H Ranch. I can’t thank Matt, Bill and the crew at Diamond H Ranch enough. They make you feel like family. I have never bought a horse from someone who has a horse facility of this caliber to ride your horse in. You can ride and rope off the horses before you purchase them. Matt will tell you everything about the horses, there are no hidden secrets about their horses they tell you the truth and stand behind it. My sons have loved the great horses we have purchased from the Ranch and in today’s world you have to be well mounted to compete. I bought the first horse (Quigley) for myself and I have never ridden him since, my son has taken him over. The day after we bought Quigley he was in the winner’s circle with Quigley and has not looked back. The crew and Ranch are truly a first class operation. Matt will always ask you how the horses are doing. They have a business that is top notch. I would highly recommend Matt and the Diamond H Ranch for all your horse needs.
