Located in the heart of scenic southern Utah, nestled between the amazing five fingers of Kolob Canyon and the beautiful Pine Valley Mountain, sits the Diamond H Ranch. This cowboy’s dream is spread over approximately five hundred acres and conveniently situated 5 miles from I-15 in the small country town of New Harmony.

Owned by Bill and Amy Hirschi, our ranch caters to the serious team roper who is in search of the ultimate horse buying experience. Ropers can choose from several quality horses to try in either our outdoor arena with all the breath taking views or our state of the art indoor, year-round, training facility.

Here at the Diamond H Ranch, we have taken all of the work out of finding your next great rope horse. Come to our 90,000 square foot, climate controlled equine facility, and let us treat you to the best horse buying experience you have ever had. With onsite accommodations and a barn full of quality horses that we stand behind, you will soon see why our slogan is ONE “SWEET” RIDE.

We want you to feel like family and will help you with each step of scheduling your visit. If you choose to fly, Delta Connection offers a non-stop flight from Salt Lake City to nearby Cedar City. We can meet you at the airport or help arrange a rental car. Depending on your preference, we have special rates at the Holiday Inn Express – Cedar City, or you can stay with us at Diamond H Ranch. At the ranch, you can stay close to the horses in one of our apartments located above the stables, or use our RV area with hook-ups next to the arena.

Why Diamond H Ranch

Recognizing there is a limited number of good quality roping horses available for sale, we sell only quality, top notch horses that vary from 4 to 12 years old. Matt and his staff can help guide you in selecting the perfect horse that will match your roping ability.

About Matt Liston

Overseeing all the horse operations and training is ranch manager Matt Liston. Matt is a ranch raised cowboy who has been involved in the training and marketing of rope horses for over twenty years. Matt has competed in ropings such as the BFI, USTRC open finals, and PRCA rodeos. He has been training and selling rope horses full time for several years. Through his experience he has gained the necessary knowledge to make a great horse. Matt is also known for being able to match those great horses with riders. Known for his honesty and integrity in the horse business you can feel confident knowing that when you purchase a horse from Diamond H Ranch you will be completely satisfied. When you buy your horse from us, we will do our best to make this a great experience.
